My Story
Hi, I’m Sara. I’m a small-town girl who finds all my joy in the little things. My life is rooted in my love for Jesus + my family. From such a young age I have been intentional in documenting timeless photographs with genuine emotion – like the way your soulmate looks at you on your wedding day when you’re not looking or the emotion from your father as he sees you in your wedding dress for the first time. Seeing these little moments in your life, frozen in time, will be something that you can cherish forever.
“See Through Photography” came from Matthew 5:16 that reads – In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. I believe that is our ultimate purpose as Christians – shouting about how good our God is and sharing it with everyone we meet. My way of doing this is through connection. I will be there for you as more than a just person behind the camera. I will pray for you, encourage you, and be a friend through life’s most exciting milestones.

I believe family is everything. My husband Nick is my best friend and biggest supporter. When I’m not behind the camera, it’s full time #MomLife for me which is the greatest blessing in the world. My passion is capturing moments that feel like home… warm, honest, and full of love.

Reality TV and Cop Shows… even though I don’t really have the time to binge watch like I used to with two kiddos, haha!
Absolute Foodie
My grandparents and mom are amazing cooks and bakers, and I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the recipes they have mastered (homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls). My husband says he’s going to be 300 lbs. one day because of me, and he’s probably right.
Coffee Lover
So typical, but so true. I literally go to sleep at night thinking about that hot cup of coffee.
Worship Music
It just absolutely always makes me happy. A few of my favorite artists are Hillsong United, Bethel Music, and Housefires. Between you and me though, I love to belt these out at the top of my lungs (not in front of people, yikes – definitely have stage fright!).
Adore Porches
There’s nothing better than waking up, throwing on some fuzzy socks, making my coffee, and going to sit outside on the porch.
